Jesús Guerrero is one of the modern wave guitarists from Spain. I just love his style, I know that many of you will say it are too many things happening and that it is too crowded with all the many notes. But this music is not meant for the ordinary audience in the first place, but for people with a more accustomed and adopted ear to the constant harmonic changes, like guitarists, for example. This is probably the most guitaristic a piece can get to be, looking it from the composer’s perspective. This is the new wave of Spanish guitarists that we can enjoy listening to, and that emerged initially first from Paco De Lucia, of course, and in many ways also from the Vicente Amigo. Esta es la nueva ola de los guitarristas Españoles que podemos disfrutar escuchando, y que surgió inicialmente primero de Paco De Lucia, por supuesto, y en muchos sentidos también del Vicente Amigo. Jesús Guerrero es un ejemplo perfecto de sus ambas influencias. Él es tan talentoso, técnicamente limpio y preciso, y para mí es una alegría escucharle tocando.
