Vicente Amigo – Roma is a very special album. Inspired by the eternal winds of Celtic culture, it came like a wind air fresh air. Recently, I enjoy his music so much… I love his expression, and also the way he thinks when composing. Vicente Amigo is one of the greatest artists, both musically and technically in the world of flamenco guitar today. His works in the last two decades are a true legacy from Paco De Lucia for all the posterity. He is truly a worthy successor of Maestro Francisco (Paco De Lucia) and continuing Paco’s footsteps, he is now on the front lines; fusing flamenco with other types of arts, and exploring the new musical frontiers. Vicente Amigo – Roma es un album muy espacial. Inspirado con los vientos eternales de la cultura Celta, vino como un viento aire aire fresco. Ultimamente, disfruto tanto de su musica… Me encanta su expresion, y tambien la manera de pensar a la hora de componer. Vicente Amigo es uno de los artistas mas grandes en el mundo de flamenco hoy. Sus obras en las últimas dos décadas son un verdadero legado de Paco De Lucía para toda la posteridad. El es heredero propio del Maestro Francisco, (Paco De Lucia) y continuando en las huellas de Paco, el ahora esta en la vanguardia, fusionando el flamenco con otros tipos de arte, y explorando las nuevas fronteras musicales. Inspirado como cualquier otra Rumba De Vicente, este album esta permeado con los sonidos Celtas, cuyos instrumentos de viento inevitablemente traen esta “ligeridad”, y esta “sensacion de eternidad”… Y con este matiz del azul – muy justamente emparejado con la naranja del fuego del flamenco…
